Posted: Thu Oct 05, 2006 11:11 am I'm not too worried, but I put Rover (Red/White male) in a divided Betta Bowl with Blackie (White male)...(cleaning their bowls and wanted to see if I could get good flaring pictures this way)...Blackie wants to eat Rover alive, and Rover is just looking at him...Rover does not look sick..swimming (haven't fed yet, but always a good eater). Rover is a very non-aggressive betta (had to get a nicer female to spawn with, because the first beat him up). Is this normal for a non-aggressive male...his spawns were very gentle...he did not chase the female very much, and never damaged fins during mating...he does flirt with the girls if they are around (what male doesn't?).
I don't have any meds (haven't needed it, and don't know much about what to have on hand except for ICK..that is the only problem I usually run into)...use TetraAqua-Aquasafe in the weekly water changes (a little aqu. salt also).
If I knew how to upload pictures, I'd take some with my cell and upload those.
