wow, i just had my female guppie give birth and i forgot to add her to the breeding trap. The odd thing was b4 i signed on to this site today, i added the intank breeding trap and forgot to add her in it. i doubt anythign survived with all of the fishes in the tank.

You never know...you may have one or two in the plants or gravel. When I had swords, I kept a net close to the tank incase a female had babies before I was ready...saved many fry that way.

yeah ya never know. I have so some not so savvy friends who keeps guppies. They started with a few did nothing special and now the tank is (5g at most) holds about 20 guppies. Not to distract from the topic but as encouragement that they can survive!

its possible, but i am sure the other guppies/angels/and yo-yos would have eatten them, but now i am ready as the breeding tank is already set-up.
