What water testing kit do y'all reccomend . I have had bettas for a while but never bothered to test the tap water I use because I live in the country and I am on a private well so I wasn't worried about chemicals . Now that I may be getting some fish that may be more sensitive to different levels of "stuff" in the water I want to test it. Thanks for any recommendations.

The test kit I recommend in descending order (All are important, I am just placing them in this order in case of budgets, and how we prioritized our tests in my service business) [1] Ammonia [2] kH [3] Nitrates [4] pH [5] Nitrites [6] GH [7] Phosphate [8] Redox Explanation: Ammonia is #1 due to the poisoning danger, but nitrite spikes usually follow ammonia spikes and dips by a few days or even hours and I generally found that testing nitrites was somewhat redundant. kH is very important for the often forgotten calcium levels that fish need. Nitrates are a good indicator of water change needs. pH is often messed with more than necessary, but is still important for many fish such as Discus or African Cichlids. GH does help indicate electrolytes and magnesium Phosphates usually only need to be tested for out of control algae growths or toxic BG algae.
